Privacy

What happens with information on this website. It covers only this site and what actually happens here.

Who is responsible

Patric Daccache, Yacht Advisor FZ-LLC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Questions about this page or your information: pd@yachtaddress.com.

Enquiry form

If you send a message through the contact form, what you enter is stored so it can be read and answered: your name, email address, the pathway and role you select, an optional listing link or yacht name, your message and the page you sent it from. It is stored in a database at the hosting provider Cloudflare and forwarded by email through Resend to the inbox that matches the pathway (YachtAddress enquiries to the YachtAddress inbox, everything else to Patric's inbox). It is used to reply to you and for nothing else. To limit abuse, a shortened one-way code derived from your connection address is stored with it; the address itself is not stored.

The form is optional. You can write directly by email or WhatsApp instead.

The interactive labs

Everything you enter in the labs (yacht length, prices, months, cost assumptions) stays in your browser. It is not sent to this site's server. The PDF exports are generated on your device. If analytics is allowed, the site records that a lab was started or completed and that a PDF was downloaded, without the figures you entered.

Journey selector

If you choose what brings you here, the choice is kept in your browser's local storage so that related content stays highlighted. Nothing about you is inferred, and no company is identified from your visit.

Email and WhatsApp links open your own email program or WhatsApp. What you write there is handled inside those services and used only to respond to you.

Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics with Google Consent Mode to understand aggregated use: pages viewed, clicks to yachtaddress.com and the book site, lab starts and completions, report downloads, enquiries and media requests. Advertising and personalisation signals are always off. No name, email address, message content or lab figures are sent to Google Analytics.

In the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland no analytics cookie is set until you select "Allow analytics"; until then measurement is restricted and cookieless. Elsewhere, standard measurement is active unless you select "Necessary only", which switches to the same restricted mode. Analytics runs only on patricdaccache.com, never on preview addresses.

Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage under the key `pd_cookie_consent_v1`. It stays on your device. To change it, use "Cookie preferences" in the footer of any page. Withdrawing consent stops further collection on this device; data recorded earlier cannot be deleted from here.

Hosting and security logs

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any website, the hosting infrastructure processes basic technical request data to deliver pages and protect the site against abuse.

This site links to other websites such as yachtaddress.com, the yacht websites shown as examples, the book site, LinkedIn, SuperYachtNews and WhatsApp. Their own privacy terms apply as soon as you leave this site.

Access, correction and deletion

To ask what enquiry information is held, to correct it or to have it deleted, write to pd@yachtaddress.com from the address you used in the enquiry.
